The mariner link chain necklace made its debut in the early 1800s. At first, they were worn primarily by sailors and fishermen to keep their lucky charms close to their hearts (literally!). This is always a highly sought-after link, for good reason! This hefty girly is quite the statement piece & a real show stopper. She can be worn as is for a higher profile, or, an extender can easily be added to lengthen. Oh - she's also stamped on every link!
